Extracurricular Activities

Polly Panda believes in a full-circle approach to education that's why in addition to our quality classroom curriculum we also offer families the opportunities to enroll their children in various extra curricular activities during their time at Polly Panda Preschool.  All extracurricular activities are optional and conducted on-site.

Express Kids

Express Kids helps students learn to music using sign language, puppets, stories, learning games, and more!  

Preschoolers are engaged with letters and sounds, counting and numbers, planet science, geography, history as well as instilled with friendly, respectful values.  Classes take place every Thursday at Polly Panda Preschool.

Crouching Tigers

Children ages 3 & up are welcome to join the Crouching Tigers program. Crouching Tigers has a unique curriculum that is geared towards children ages two and up. This curriculum, written specifically for young children, incorporates a variety of games and activities to reinforce the lessons taught in class. The Crouching Tigers curriculum is taught in cycles with each cycle completed in three months and ending with a promotion ceremony. Promotion ceremonies are a time when children have the opportunity to receive a higher belt rank.
Crouching Tigers classes are so much more than martial arts classes and covers many different safety tips for children such as stranger danger, bully awareness and what to do when lost in a public place. Additionally, children are taught healthy eating, fire safety, and even germ awareness. The goal of the curriculum is to teach children the importance of taking care of themselves no matter what type of situation may occur. The curriculum also focuses on a variety of life skills such as honesty, respect, confidence, perseverance, integrity, and courtesy.
